Hi, I’m Naakai!

A senior in Cornell University’s College of Engineering studying Information Science, Systems, & Technology with concentrations in both Interactive Technologies and UX Design. Immigrating to the U.S. when I was young and moving frequently throughout my childhood taught me how to adapt and connect with every community I became part of. Even in places where most people had lived their whole lives, I enjoyed exploring deeply and finding my own ways to build meaningful connections. I love engaging with others—whether in conversation or through public speaking. Integrity and optimism are values I believe are the foundation to a fulfilling life.  I’m always interested in how others see the world, and I like applying those perspectives to my own thinking to push myself to grow. These values and experiences guide the way I create, leading me to design and develop with a focus on connecting communities and industries in ways that truly make an impact. Fun Fact: I have lived in three countries and four states!
